check it out it's Hardpoint ALPHA 002-DD34

a first person, survival-y shooter game (with some rpg on top). also, it generates levels nearly anywhere in the world using a pair of (lat, lon) coordinates

(002-DD34 is a probably-not-worth-playing tech demo for bits of the world generation and bits of the weapon customization and bits of the other stuff too)

it's buggy as hell and behind almost a whole version number, but it'll generate cities from gps coordinates (most of the time) and that's the cool part. doesn't generate building interiors though, they're hiding in the new generation system

you need decimal gps coordinates for the game to work rn, not coordinates in minutes, seconds, etc - and there's no map. you can get decimal gps coordinates pretty easily w/ google maps, or you can convert dms coordinates to decimal with a bunch of shits online or be a genius i guess

things to know:

• listen servers do actually work afaik, dm me if you wanna test that out or something
• if you are going to use the default gps coordinates already in the text boxes (coordinates for downtown seattle), click into both text boxes and hit enter first to actually set the coordinate (otherwise it'll crash, whoops)
• if there are no enemies, it's likely because the game is waiting for you to stand still long enough for them to spawn around the map (don't ask)
• when enemies spawn, a big red vertical line gets drawn through them temporarily so you can find them
• sights don't work correctly at all, i mean they do but they don't in this build
• probably a whole lot more, not sure

controls, no rebinding (also sorry):

• movement: WASD
• cycle fire-mode / ready-up (when near the helicopter): F
• fire: LMB
• ads: RMB
• speed hacks: SHIFT
